SGN-100 Laboratory Jet Mill is a model specifically designed for laboratory and pilot-scale applications. This product is particularly suitable for grinding small batches of high-value-added products in a laboratory setting.
The grinding principle of the laboratory-specific jet mill is based on the fluidized bed jet pulverization technology, utilizing high-speed airflow to achieve ultra-fine grinding of materials. The material is accelerated within the high-speed airflow, causing it to repeatedly impact and collide at the nozzle convergence point, thereby achieving the grinding effect.
The jet mill includes a classifier to separate processed materials: particles meeting required fineness pass through the gaps of classification wheel, while those do not meet requirements returned to the grinding chamber for further size reduction.
SGN-100 is characterized by its compact size, it has a modular design, making it convenient to disassemble for cleaning and maintenance. The equipment has with no dead corners for residues, thereby preventing contamination caused by accidental mixing of different materials. The whole operational process does not involve temperature rise, and its material loss rate is extremely low. The grinding performance of this product is on par with that of large-scale equipment, with a particle size range of 1–30μm.
