The SJN III concentrator consists of three evaporators operating simultaneously, which utilize the flash steam generated during first- and second-effect evaporation for subsequent heating and evaporation processes. When applied in an industrial plant to process large quantities of materials, it saves a significant amount of water, steam, and electricity consumption; the total cost on energy of SJN III is about 70% lower than a single-effect concentrator. The three effects operate simultaneously; they can be used to concentrate three different types of materials, while it is also possible to make one type of material pass through all three effects in a one run, maximizing efficiency and reducing processing time. It supports both batched and continuous operation modes.

This concentrator is designed in accordance with the national manufacturing requirement of “External-Heated Triple-Effect Evaporator for Traditional Chinese Medicine”, and it complies with international GMP standard. Its material-contacting parts are all made of SS316L or SS304. Surfaces on the evaporator and heater vessels are polished to Ra≤0.4μm; inner tubes are also polished to mirror finish to ensure materials flow fluently, with no stagnation and no residue able to remain inside the vessel.
